My background

I wasn't always a great student. When I was young, I showed promise as a student. My mother has likes to brag that I started school with a 5th grade reading level. I picked up mathematics rather quickly and I enjoyed it.

Once I raised my GPA from 0.25 to 3.2 and graduated with my Associate's Degree, I had to plan my next step. It was then time to apply to pharmacy schools. In an effort to leave the state of Virginia, I applied to Northeastern University of Boston,

• 15 years of mathematics teaching at high school level in California, Virginia and Georgia. Also taught remedial mathematics at a community college (Virginia) for three years
• 25 years as a land surveyor in Virginia, North Carolina, New Mexico, California and Georgia
• 6 years experience in coaching volleyball, tennis and softball. Over 40 years of playing sports including softball, baseball, tennis, basketball, football, distance running and others. I have also been asked to sponsor a badminton club.
• Applying sports psychology since 2012
• ​Degrees in science, mathematics education, sports and performance psychology and consciousness and spirituality psychology
• Educator of Distinction certificate National Society of High School Scholars
• Faculty sponsor of Anti-Stress Club and Dream Club (a dream group for high school students and teachers)

• ​Sports Psychology Consultant and Coach for Williamsburg Colonials Semipro Football Team
• Real Estate Agent at Abbitt Real Estate in Williamsburg, VA.
